Black Bear Lodge is a cozy retreat in South Lake Tahoe with hotel-style rooms, spacious suites, and private cabins. The property sits on two acres of wooded and beautifully landscaped grounds. It’s a tranquil haven, yet walking distance to several restaurants and the crystal blue shores of Lake Tahoe. In the winter months, the Heavenly Mountain Resort ski shuttle can pickup out front for the 5-minute ride to the base of the slopes.
For us, luxury lies in the thoughtful details and personal touches. We look forward to welcoming you to Lake Tahoe - our home.
The Property
To get a lay of the land and help you select the ideal accomodation for your trip, we’ve included a property map below and button link to an overview of each of our room types. We have twelve different room types ranging from standalone cabins to hotel-style rooms to multiroom suites. There are a total of 32 rooms on property. While the majority of our room types are for up to two guests, we do have a handful of accommodations for up to four guests.
Please note that we do not have an elevator in any building. Several of our room types are located exclusively on the second floor, while others have options on the ground floor or the second floor.
